Samsung is expected to begin release Android 7.0 Nougat update to wide range of devices. Here is a list of devices that are eligible to receive it.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 owners in the U.S, the U.K and China are now receiving over-the-air update of Android 7.0 Nougat. It is soon expected to reach other users of S7 and S7 Edge. Since the Galaxy S7 Active features similar specs like Galaxy S7, it is also expected to get Android N in the near future, Indian Gizmo reported.
The Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 are Samsung's flagship smartphones from 2016. In the last quarter of 2016, the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Note 5 were found being tested with the latest Android version. These devices are expected to get Android N by the end of Q1 or after the April launch of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus
The Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) were launched earlier this year with Marshmallow OS onboard. These devices were heavily pegged to launch with Nougat OS. Hence, the 2017 editions of Galaxy A smartphones are expected to receive Android N soon.
