Plastic surgery is hugely popular in South Korea and many celebrities have been accused of going under the knife and getting something done. While some swear to having natural beauty, others openly admitted to have enhanced a facial feature or two. EXID's Hani is one of the many K-Pop stars who have become a subject of plastic surgery rumors due to her beautiful visuals. The singer, however, has denied such rumors and she has a perfectly good reason for not following the trend.
On JTBC's "Knowing Bros," EXID's Hani revealed that it was something her mother said that discouraged her from having plastic surgery. When Hani made the hosts guess what her mother said, some of them suggested that it might be due to financial concerns or just living a healthy lifestyle instead.
"As soon as I heard this, I was immediately convinced and agreed with her," Hani hinted, as translated by Koreaboo.
Of all the answers, host Kang Ho Dong's guess was correct: "Do you think you'll turn in to Kim Tae Hee if you do?" Rain, Kim Tae Hee's fiancé, was also a guest on the show and he agreed with Kang Ho Dong's answer.
Kim Tae Hee is regarded as one of top natural beauties and perfect visuals in the entertainment industry. She has never had a single plastic surgery and she has disproved rumors countless of times over with proof that her beauty is all natural.
This is not the first time that Hani had to address plastic surgery rumors. In July 2016, a panel of reporters on MBC's "Section TV" revealed that Hani had presented several evidences to debunk the accusations.
According to Soompi, she handed out a copy of a CT scan of her face. ZE:A's Kwanghee, who has admitted to having undergone plastic surgery, said that a CT scan of a person who has gone under the knife will show abnormal white lines on the bone structure. Hani's CT scan did not have any white lines, which means she has not had anything done on her face. Photos from her childhood also indicate that her before and after looks are the same.
EXID is reportedly staging a comeback in the early part of 2017.
