Kim Tae Hee and long-time boyfriend Rain recently tied the knot in an intimate private ceremony at the Gahoe-Dong Catholic Church in Seoul. After their low-key wedding, the newlyweds are set to leave for Indonesia for their honeymoon.
Earlier this week, Kim and Rain's management agencies stated that the newlyweds have no immediate plans for a honeymoon or parenthood. Now, it is starting to look like that plan has changed.
For their honeymoon, Kim and Rain will head to Bali, Indonesia on Jan. 22, according to Rain Company and Lua Entertainment, as cited by Yonhap News Agency. They will stay on the Island of a Thousand Puras for five days and four nights.
This comes after the "Yong-Pal" actress' wedding dress has gained attention in the online world. Instead of a traditional wedding gown, the bride opted for a simple knee-length white dress and a short bridal veil, essentially falling to the center of her back.
Kim, who earned a degree in fashion design at Seoul National University, co-designed her wedding gown, a source told The Kpop Herald. Based on the actress's own ideas, the stylist bought the materials and tailored the dress herself, it added.
Instead of a lavish ceremony, the celebrity couple had a small and solemn Catholic-style wedding on Jan. 19, Thursday. They then proceeded to a local restaurant in Yeouido for the reception, which was attended by a select group of relatives and friends that include Ahn Sung Ki, Yoon Kye Sang, J. Y. Park, PSY, Honey Lee and Joon Park.
Kim and Rain, who met on a television commercial set in 2011, has started dating in the fall of 2012. Their relationship, however, was made public on Jan. 1, 2013. Since then, the couple has become a frequent target of unending marriage rumors.
The rumors were renewed on Jan. 15, Sunday when Rain released his comeback song "The Best Present" that actually contained all of the things that he wanted to say to his better half. Check it out below:
