Struggling club CD Leganes (4-9-6, 18 points) and middling squad Celta de Vigo (8-8-3, 27 points) are set to clash in a 2016-2017 La Liga season encounter on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Butarque Stadium.

Leganes, last season's Segunda Division runners-up, has been winless in their last six matches to fall to the 17th spot of the 20-team Spanish top flight table, only five points above the bottom three relegation area currently occupied by Sporting Gijon, Granada, and fellow newly-promoted squad Osasuna.
In their most recent fixture last Saturday, Los Pepineros was held by another newly-promoted club, Alaves, to a 1-1 draw on the road at the Mendizorrotza Stadium, Marca reported.
Alaves defender Victor Laguardia opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Leganes forward Miguel Angel Guerrero equalized in the 45th minute.
Spanish midfielder Edgar then grabbed back the lead for Alaves with a goal in the 51st minute, but Leganes defender Pablo Insua forced the draw with a header from the center of the box with six minutes left before full-time.
Meanwhile, Celta Vigo is coming off a 0-1 loss to contending squad Real Sociedad on the road at the Anoeta Stadium last Sunday, as per ESPN.
After a goalless first half of play, Spanish forward Juanmi provided the lone goal of the match for Real Sociedad in the 72nd minute to hand head coach Eduardo Berizzo's squad their eighth loss of the season.
The defeat snapped Celta Vigo's two-game winning run as the team is now settled in the eighth spot in the overall standings. They are only four points behind sixth-place team Villarreal, who currently holds the second and final Europa League qualifying berth for next season, and a comfortable 14 points above the bottom three relegation zone.
