All reports written about Nick Gordon's mental state turned out to be absolutely true when the intervention show with Dr. Phil McGraw was aired yesterday. In a national TV exclusive, Dr. Phil conducted an emotionally charged interview with Gordon, boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina, who is the only child of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
The 40-minute long interview was interrupted several times as Gordon was extremely emotional and showed extreme behaviour during the interview. The 25-year-old adopted son of Houston was accompanied by his mother Michelle, who in turn appeared distraught and worried about her son.
"He just wants to die," Michelle told Dr. Phil at the start of the interview. During the interview, Gordon's mood swung from calm and assertive to shaking and weeping. Watch the full interview below.
Among much crying and counselling, Dr Phil finally popped up the big question: How did Bobbi Kristina end up facedown and unconscious in her bathtub? But Gordon was crying hysterically at the moment and could not reply properly.
However, Gordon's mother stepped in and told what her son had told him earlier. On Jan. 30, Kristina, Gordon and their common friend Max Lomas went out for a few drinks. When the trio returned, Gordon and Kristina, who declared themselves as husband and wife after the legendary singer Houston's sudden death, broke into an argument.
Gordon walked away to sleep in another room while Kristina went in her room to draw a bubble bath. Later, Lomas, who stayed back at the couple's house, found Kristina face down in the bathtub. He called Gordon who gave her CPR to revive her.
Nothing new has come up in the revelations and there are still many unanswered questions left, Hollywood Life reported. Throughout the interview, Gordon insisted that he wants to visit Kristina in the hospital. Gordon has reportedly been banned from visiting the 22-year-old celebrity child and there is an ongoing feud between him and Kristina's father Brown.
"I hate Bobby Brown," Gordon said, referring to his girlfriend's dad. Gordon first resisted the idea of rehab, but later agreed and checked into the facility on March 6 just after the interview. Dr. Phil believed that Nick Gordon was not sober during his interview, Heavy.com reported.
