Samsung's long awaited device Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to showcase during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in the next month. The device is now rumored to come powered by Samsung's Exynos 7420 chipset and a 4 GB of RAM.
The new details of Galaxy Tab S3 have surfaced from a Chinese leakster on Weibo. The tablet will be featuring Exynos 7420, the same chipset that is present inside the Galaxy Note 5 from 2015. The SoC will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The leakster further stated that the tablet will be coming in two versions. The models are bearing SM-T820 and SM-T825 serial numbers for the variants of WiFi and LTE, respectively, The Android Soul reported.
The upcoming devices will have support for UFS2.0 storage, USB Type-C port and fingerprint sensor incorporated in physical home button. The device is expected to launch in the first quarter of this year.
Earlier in this month, it was reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 received the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification from Bluetooth SIG. The Galaxy Tab S3 will be the successor to Galaxy Tab S2 that was released in September 2015. The South Korean company was supposed to launch the Galaxy Tab S3 in September 2016, but speculations due to the recall and discontinuation of Galaxy Note 7 in the same month its arrival was delayed.
Samsung Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Samsung has started sending the Nougat update to the users of its current flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. Users of other Samsung smartphones who are expecting to receive the update, the South Korean company has come up with a list that confirms which devices will be getting the Nougat 7.0.
Samsung has confirmed that it will be rolling out the Nougat update to Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8.
Samsung has not officially mentioned the specific time on when these devices will be getting the update. The company assures that by first half of the year all the above mentioned phones and tablets will be receiving the update, TechTimes reported.
