AMD Ryzen and AMD Vega specs, price, and release date hold the key to the company's success. Experts believed that an accelerated release of AMD's next generation devices could highly influence the 30 billion a year industry currently dominated by Intel and Nvidia.
The population of gamers have seen a significant growth last year. Along with such growing population of enthusiasts are the demands for mid-range and high-end products. Consequently, high-performance Vega GPUs and Ryzen processors were developed to capture a greater portion of the market by giving consumers the quality and value they needed.
In order to appease such demand and be on top, AMD has to hasten the release of their latest CPU and GPU architecture, according to Seeking Alpha. Moreover, the combination of Ryzen CPU and Vega GPU is seen as a potent ingredient in making AMD great again, while transitioning gamers to defect from Nvidia and Intel.
As of the current writing, the release date of AMD products is yet to be confirmed. However, adhering to the previous assurance of AMD, their Ryzen CPU will be released in Q1 of this year. Such release has been interpreted to be within February or March timeframe, according to PC Advisor.
Apart from the accelerated release period of the said devices, AMD's success also lies within the promising features of their product. AMD Ryzen has demonstrated an un-boosted 3.4Ghz performance slightly better than that of Intel's 6900K 3.2-3.7Ghz with turbo.
On the other hand, AMD Vega has been considered as a contender against Nvidia's GPU. The addition of HBM2 memory to the devices makes it a standout over Nvidia's GTX 1080 that was released in May 2016.
Furthermore, individuals wanting to build new PC setup views the anticipated $500 price point of AMD as an opportunity to purchase the power like that of Intel's 6900k processor while spending less. AMD assure consumers that Ryzen and Vega will provide higher frame rates and better game graphics quality.
