The leaked poster that has appeared on Weibo has not revealed any information the design and display of the device. However, speculations indicate that the Redmi Pro 2 will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display like its predecessor, but the newer phone is expected to sport slimmer bezels, Playful Droid reported.
Chipset, RAM and Storage
There is no information available on the leaked poster on the chipset that will power the Redmi Pro 2. However, it is speculated to feature MediaTek Helio X30 chipset device. The Redmi Pro's standard variant features Helio X25 chipset and Hight and Exclusive editions are powered Helio X30 chipset.
The Redmi Pro 2 is expected to come in models like 64 GB storage / 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage / 6 GB RAM. The Redmi Pro standard and high variants come in respective storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB along with 3 GB of RAM. Its exclusive variant has 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. Like the Redmi Pro, it successor is expected to feature a microSD slot.
Camera, Software and Other Features
The Redmi Pro 2 will be dropping the dual camera feature available on its predecessor as it is expected to come with a single 12-megapixel dual pixel autofocus rear camera and a frontal snapper of 5-megapixel. The Redmi Pro has a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup on rear panel and 5-megapixel rear camera.
The Redmi Pro is available with MIUI 8 flavored Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The same OS and MIUI skin is expected to be available on its successor model. Like its predecessor, the Redmi Pro 2 is expected to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi Pro is packed with a 4,050 mAh battery with fast charging support. The Redmi Pro 2 is expected to feature a mammoth battery of 4,500 mAh capacity along with fast charging support.
The 64 GB Redmi Pro is priced at 1,699 Yuan ($255) and its 128 GB model costs 1,999 Yuan ($300). The 64 GB Redmi Pro is expected to cost 1,599 Yuan ($232) and the high-end 128 GB model is priced at 1,7999 Yuan ($261).
