A new video released by EA for the launch of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” aimed to show off bonuses buyers would get for preordering the game also provides a brief look at some combat gameplay for the upcoming RPG of BioWare.
EA would launch “Mass Effect: Andromeda” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new video follows the release in January by the studio of new cinematic trailer showing some of the teammate characters and Archon, the bad guy, GameSpot reported.
Characters Use Biotic Power
The newly released gameplay appears to be multiplayer showing characters who use Biotic power. Krogan, for instance, is shown at one point doing a ground pound. The footage is captured in engine and represents the game experience.
Although Bioware did not share a lot of details about the multiplayer mode of “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” it appears similar to Mass Effect 3 in which player fight waves of AI-controlled enemies. The weapons and items are delivered via loot boxes that could be used to customize characters and make it more powerful.
Bonuses For Game Pre-Order
Bonuses that gamers who would pre-order “Mass Effect: Andromeda” would get bonuses such as the Deep Space Explorer armor for the protagonist Ryder, a special skin for the Nomad vehicle and a booster pack for multiplayer mode of the game. The booster, based on the video, allows the player to accrue experience and level up a little faster.
Meanwhile, GamesRadar reported that Bioware unofficially declared Feb. 2 as “Peebee Appreciation Day” with a new video interview with the voice actress for Peebee, detailed art/cosplay guide for the character and a brief bio of Peebee on the official site. According to Christine Lakin, the voice actress for Peebee, the “Mass Effect: Andromeda” character is completely goofy and sometimes her joke totally lands and does not.
