The cast of "Goblin" was supposed to head to Phuket, Thailand for their reward vacation after the successful finale of the hit tvN show. However, the trip was cancelled for good.

According to Soompi, cast members Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na will not be able to attend the trip so they decided to just cancel it altogether. Reps for each of the actors revealed that all four have very busy schedules at the moment.

The agencies of the four cast members added that they tried to do everything they can to make sure that they could join the trip, but it just is not really possible. Hwa & Dam Pictures, the company responsible for organizing the vacation was surprised to know that they could not make it.

A source from the company said that everything has already been purchased including plane tickets, hotel reservations and transportations. They revealed that they were not informed that the four main characters from "Goblin" will not be able to make the trip.

A few days ago, Yook Sungjae also confirmed that he will not be able to join the trip because of his tight schedule. The actor is currently filming for the upcoming show, "Law of the Jungle."

Meanwhile, "Goblin" ended on a high note last month, exceeding the ratings expectation for cable television. The show's finale received a massive 20.5 rating, the highest among Korean cable TV shows of its kind.

Despite a decrease in the ratings for "Goblin" on some weeks, and with "Legend of the Blue Sea" taking over as the highest rating show in Korea last month, the former still managed to bring home the title in the end.

"Legend of the Blue Sea" just ended with a 17.9 rating, something that is expected from K-drama shows that air on broadcast television.

Following the conclusion of "Goblin," a new K-drama series is set to take its place. Unfortunately, favorites Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun and Yoo In Na will not be part of the new tvN project.
