"Modern Family" Season 8, episode 12 will serve as the special Valentine's Day episode for the hit ABC sitcom.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Do You Believe in Magic?" will feature the return of Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell's (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) friend, Sal (Elizabeth Banks), as well as Nathan Fillion's weatherman character, Rainer Shine.

With Sal's German boyfriend out of town, Sal will crash Cam and Mitchell's romantic night out. Haley (Sarah Hyland) will tag along with them. While there, the latter will chance upon her boyfriend, Rainer, spending some time with another woman.

Rainer previously tells Haley that he could not go out on a date with her because he has to be at the weather station for work. However, he obviously is not working and he is lying to Haley. The potential heartbreak of the character will lead Cam and Mitchell to realize how lucky they are to have each other.

Meanwhile, Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) will also have some mishaps on Valentine's Day. When Phil realizes that the spark in their marriage is slowly dying, he decides to call on his alter ego, Clive Bixby. Clive makes their celebration as exciting as ever.

Elsewhere, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Jay (Ed O'Neill) will also have an important discussion about playing favorites. One of them thinks that Joe's Valentine-day gift giving is rather in appropriate. Another one of them will be upset at Manny's (Rico Rodriguez) dating inappropriateness.

Alex (Ariel Winter) will also discover that someone has a secret crush on her. However, things may already end even before they begin when she realizes that her admirer is very much involved and connected with the Dunphies.

"Modern Family" Season 8, episode 12 will air on ABC on Feb. 8 at 8: 30 p.m. EST.
