The Xiaomi Redmi 4 budget smartphone will soon get its new competitor, the Meizu M5s. Here is a comparison between the Redmi 4 Prime and Meizu M5s on the basis of their specifications, features and price.
Display
The Redmi 4 Prime comes with a 5-inch screen that produces a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The Meizu M5s that is yet to release officially, but its listing on TENAA certification body has revealed that the device will be equipped with a 5.2-inch display that produces an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
Chipset, RAM and Storage
The Redmi 4 Prime runs on Snapdragon 625 chipset that features an octa-core that clocks at 2.0 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM. Its native storage is 32 GB. It also features a microSD slot.
The MediaTek M6753 chipset that is reportedly present under the hood of Meizu M5s features a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor. The highest storage variant of Meizu M5s features 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. Like its predecessor, the Meizu M3s, the M5s is also expected to feature a microSD slot.

Camera, Software and Other Features
Both the smartphones feature rear cameras of 13-megapixel and front-facing shooters of 5-megapixel. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow flavored MIUI 8 is present inside Redmi 4 Prime whereas the Meizu M5s is pegged to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow customized with Flyme 6.0.
The Redmi 4 Prime has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the physical Home button at the front of Meizu M5s is expected to house a fingerprint reader.
Battery and Price
Like the Redmi 3S Prime, the Redmi 4 Prime also features a mammoth battery of 4,100 mAh capacity. A 2,930 mAh battery is expected to power the Meizu M5s.
The Redmi 4 Prime that has 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM is priced at 899 Yuan ($131). According to Playful Droid, the Meizu M5s may cost 999 Yuan ($145). This pricing may belong to the 32 GB storage / 3 GB RAM model of the Meizu's upcoming budget phone. The phone is also expected to come in lowest storage model of 16 GB and 2 GB of RAM.
