The latest story arc of the long-running franchise is now being headed by directors Ryota Nakamura and Tatsuya Nagamine. Reports also say that they are the fourth and fifth directors to be filling in after the series' third director - Kohei Hatano begged off from the post.

Prior to such, the anime's first director was Kimitoshi Chioka as he eventually handed over the directorial duties to Morio Hatano, according to Anime Times as cited by Comicbook. A huge task will be at hand for these two as the future of "Dragon Ball Super's" new chapter depends on them including the job of leading the fans into its looming matches.

Nakamura already has a bird' eye view of the show as he already helmed past episodes of the anime series. Nagamine, on the other hand, has worked on other projects and franchises like "Digimon" and 2012's "One Piece Film Z." His other works also include "Dragon Ball GT" and "Dragon Ball Kai."

Meanwhile, Son Goku got what he requested from the Omni King to stage an inter-universe martial arts competition. However, a potential setback is impending as fellow Saiyan Vegeta refused to train with him due to an expectant Bulma, Tripped Media reported.

A sneak peek at the upcoming episode suggests that the Omni King will be present in the Tournament of Power. Also, the 12 gods of destruction will be struck with fear as it was made known prior to the matches that the defeated universe will be eradicated by Zen-Oh himself.
