SHINee member Minho is a man of many talents. In fact, many women out there who are enamored with him are asking why he is currently single. The Kpop idol, in a recent interview with KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Weekly," has revealed why.
On the Feb. 04 episode of "Entertainment Weekly," Minho stated his true personality used to be different from his character in KBS 2TV's "Hwarang." Fortunately, playing Kim Soo Ho in the ongoing drama has changed him in many ways.
In the 20-episode historical drama, the idol-turned-actor plays Kim Soo Ho, a hot-blooded and chivalrous warrior who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He is viewed as a shameless playboy, but is actually a pure-hearted man who is faithful to one woman.
"I wasn't like that before," Minho said. "But now that I've played the character of Kim Soo Ho in 'Hwarang,' I think I've changed a bit."
The interviewer then asked him about what he looks for in a woman in order for her to be able to lay on the actor's chest. While he likes natural beauty most of all, the Kpop idol said he gets easily attracted to someone who works passionately at their own craft.
This comes months after Minho has opened up about his close bond with "Hwarang" co-stars. Speaking to Star1 Korea magazine, as cited by Soompi, the SHINee member said he never thought he will become this close with Park Seo Joon, Go Ara and ZE:A's Park Hyung Sik.
"Even though we finished filming, we've already met up a few times and eaten and hung out together," Minho said. "It's difficult to meet actors around the same age as me and become close while filming."
Meanwhile, the decline in viewership ratings continues for "Hwarang" ever since it premiered on Dec. 19. The show's 15th episode, which aired on Feb. 06, Monday, only recorded a nationwide rating of 8.6 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
