Kim Soo-Hyun, who starred as an alien in 2013-2014's "My Love from the Star," has denied rumors that he will marry the former Wonder Girls member Sohee. The former thinks rumors about his brewing romance with the latter are petty.
Earlier this week, rumors were afloat that the Hallyu star and idol-turned-actress were secretly dating for almost a year and are planning to get married in late April. It is said that the former was the one who introduced the latter to KeyEast back in September 2015.
Kim and Sohee's agency quickly made a statement to address the marriage rumors, claiming that the two are just friends and nothing more. The entertainment label reiterated that all the reports of their supposed marriage are baseless and warned to take strong measures, including legal action, against those who are spreading false information.
"The reports that the two are getting married are completely false," KeyEast said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "It is unfortunate to see this false information being published and reported on. We are currently collecting evidence through various channels."
This is not the first time Kim and Sohee were ensnared in a scandal. In late 2015, speculations are rife the two were secretly seeing each other despite actors' denial. KeyEast believed that the gossip was being repeated through click-bait scam websites.
Meanwhile, Kim is busy preparing for his big screen comeback with "Real." In the upcoming film, he plays Jang Tae-Young, an ambitious bounty hunter who has his eyes set on constructing a casino hotel to control the city.
However, things start to get out of his hand when a former detective reporter, No Yeom (Lee Geung Young), suddenly appears. Though Kim is always ready for adventure, he did not anticipate how difficult and painful it would be to shoot several action scenes.
"I tried my best to stay focused and immersed in my role," Kim said in a statement obtained by Digital Chosun Inc. "I had to shoot scenes underwater and used green screens. The intense action scenes were really challenging for me, but I enjoyed them."
