Sony Xperia XA2 is pegged to get unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. Several leaked shots of the alleged Xperia XA (2017) has revealed the design of the smartphone once again along with its pricing and some of its specs.
At the end of the previous month, a leaked video of the Xperia XA (2017) had surfaced. The video is longer accessible and the leaked shots seems to belong to the deleted video. However, new information suggests that the smartphone would be launching as Xperia XA2, WCCF Tech reported.
The leaked shots suggest that the smartphone will not be sporting metallic chassis, but it is likely that it would be featuring a polycarbonate chassis. The smartphone seems to sport slimmer bezels. As far as the design of the Xperia XA (2017) is concerned, the device sports a rectangular design with shar corners.
Just as the Xperia XA came with 5-inch screen, its successor is also expected to come fitted with the same-sized display. Earlier leaks have revealed that the device would be measuring 145 x 66.8 x 7.99 mm which is 0.1 mm thicker than the predecessor model. The Xperia XA (2017) has an alleged model number of G3121.
Previous rumors have hinted that the Sony Xperia XA2 would be powered by MediaTek Helio P20 chipset that includes a 64-bit octa-core processor. The SoC is expected to be supported by 4 GB of RAM. The rear side features a single camera with a LED flash. Speculations have it that the smartphone would be coming with a 23-megapixel snapper. On the front, it is pegged to include a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Sony Xperia XA2 leaked photo has revealed that the smartphone would come preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The Sony phone will be arriving with 64 GB of internal storage. Other speculated features of the smartphone include USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
As far as the pricing of Sony Xperia XA2 is concerned, the device is expected to cost 2,200 Yuan ($320), Android Headlines reported. Previous rumors have hinted that the smartphone would be coming in color choices such as red, purple and navy blue.
