Adele was one of the big winners during the recently held Grammy Awards 2017. With her "25" album named as the Album of the Year, the "Hello" crooner gave an emotional speech that included a touching message to Beyonce.

Adele brought home five Grammy Awards to add to her collection of trophies and accolades received over the years. The British singer's hit track "Hello" won the Song of the Year award, Record of the Year award, as well as the Best Pop Solo Performance honor, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Apart from "Hello," the singer's album "25" nabbed the Best Pop Vocal Album award and the Album of the Year award, besting Beyonce's global hit "Lemonade." In Adele's acceptance speech, the "Someone Like You" songstress dedicated her award to the Destiny's Child alum.

Describing "Lemonade" as a monumental album, Adele also gushed over Beyonce and called her the "artist of [her] life." She even tearfully mentioned that the said album should have won the Album of the Year honor and not "25," as shown in a clip posted on The Hollywood Reporter's Twitter page.

Adele stated, "I can't possibly accept this award and I'm very humble and I'm very grateful ... this album for me, the "Lemonade" album, is so monumental. [It's] so thought out and so beautiful ... and we all got to see another side [of Beyonce] that [she] doesn't always let us see ... We adore you."

Meanwhile, Adele gave an emotional rendition of the late George Michael's song "Fast Love." After stopping her live performance and swearing on stage, the multi-awarded singer apologized and asked to restart her musical tribute. Highlighting the disastrous Grammy Awards 2016 performance where the singer encountered technical difficulties, Adele told the audience that she "can't do it like ... last year."

It appears that some of the artists who performed during the Grammy Awards 2017 also experienced similar technical problems. An eyewitness told E!News that Metallica's James Hetfield looked angry about the sound issues and even "chucked his guitar" to a tech personnel.
