Do Ji-Han has nothing but praise for his "Hwarang" co-star. The 25-year-old actor, who plays Park Ban-Ryu in the KBS 2TV drama, has lauded BTS's V for his dynamic portrayal of Seok Han-Sung.
Earlier this week, Do sat down for an interview with the local media and shared his honest thoughts about what it is like to work with the BTS member. Since it was the latter's first time acting, he had a lot of worries throughout filming for "Hwarang."
"Taehyung unexpectedly worked really really hard," Soompi quoted Do as saying before a group of local media. "He's talented by nature. Whenever I saw him, I naturally found myself smiling."
Do went ahead to say that V has grown a lot in acting. Since the latter has a strong desire and passion to learn more, the former thought he would do well if he just guided him a bit. He then reiterated that the Kpop idol is constantly working hard to bring his acting skills up to the "next level."
Further, the BTS member is said to be the mood-maker on the set in light of his considerate and friendly personality. The Kpop idol always approached the older actors first and make several suggestions on what to do together.
"He's really an affectionate person," Do added. "When I saw him juggling his music schedule, I thought 'It must be hard. It must be physically straining' but seeing him laugh till the end and energetically finish [filming] made me think that he is amazing."
With only four-episode left until "Hwarang" comes to an end, the show's producers recently discussed where the historical drama would be heading now, Korean newsoutlet Sports Chosun reported. It is said that something special will soon happen, setting off a major change in the Hwarang, also known as Flowering Knights.
In the remaining four episodes, viewers will witness how the carefree male youth will grow into a legendary Hwarang warrior. While waiting, check out the 16th episode of "Hwarang" below:
