LG G6's newest teaser claims that the new flagship smartphone will be reliable. The South Korean tech company might be taking a jab at the recent Galaxy Note 7 fiasco by Samsung.
The new LG G6 teaser sent to Android Central has a copy of "Reliability. Check, Check, Check." It is followed by the unveiling date which is set for Feb. 26.
LG has been vocal in their previous announcements that the G6 will be a reliable smartphone in terms of features and quality. The LG G6 is expected to have the same military certification the LG V20 has and more. In fact, earlier reports claim that the flagship smartphone will have water resistance as well.
The new flagship smartphone from LG will not have the modular features that made the G5 fail in the first place. Instead, the company is focusing on quality and performance.
LG G6 models have already been shipped to lucky users under the Pre-release Strategy Recruiting program designed to collect early feedback before the launch, NDTV reported. There are no reviewers yet that have posted their take on the new flagship smartphone.
With reliability being a keyword in the marketing strategy, the smartphone may have additional safeguards against drops and falls. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 may be the screen protector for the device's QHD display.
Another similarity of the LG G6 with the LG V20 is the 32-bit Quad DAC. The digital-to-analog converter helps improve sound quality which is a must for audiophiles. It has been one of the highlights for the LG V20's marketing and now it is just one of the many features of the new flagship smartphone.
The LG G6 is expected to be unveiled soon as the teaser has shown. More specs and features are expected to be revealed at the said event.
