The rumor mill continues to reveal the upcoming key specs of Huawei P10 Plus that will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event in Barcelona. The latest news on its specs came from a Spanish retailer, which disclosed the device's processor, display size and large RAM.
Ahead of the Barcelona event, information about Huawei's next-generation smartphones are surfacing. Now, latest reports point to the company's P10 Plus variant, which according to a Spanish retailer will include a whooping 8GB of RAM and an octa-core Kirin 960 mobile chipset.
The Spanish retailer, Phone House, arrived with the leaked specs for the Huawei P10 Plus, Phone Arena reported. In the said listing, the smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display, which will be a bigger display size than the P10 variant. Under the hood, the device will be armed with Kirin 960 chipset, a large 8GB or RAM and 512GB of internal storage onboard.
If the retailer's specs are to be believed, both the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones will carry Huawei's in-house Kirin 960 octa-core chipset and the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. However, the P10 will sport a smaller 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and smaller battery capacity.
The retailer's listing revealed the phone's pricing at €799 or about $850. Fans of Huawei should take the listing with a pinch of salt before the company's official confirmation at MWC 2017.
For the uninitiated, the Huawei P10 smartphone is rumored to sport an AMOLED display, which takes advantage of lesser battery consumption and brighter screen display, PCAdvisor reported. It will also provide improved VR experience on VR platform such as Daydream.
Specs-wise, the Huawei P10 smartphone will reportedly come with a 5.5-inch QHD curved display on both edges, along with a capsule-shaped home button at the bottom-front and power and volume buttons situated at the right panel of the device.
In terms of hardware, the upcoming Huawei P10 will be powered by Kirin 960 S0C, coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed, with EMUI 5 on top of it.
EMUI 5 is an improved version of Huawei's Emotion UI, which should bring a cleaner and more convenient experience with the option to choose between having an App Tray or an iOS-format for the home screen.
