The Mobile World Congress 2017 event in Barcelona will be the stage for many flagship smartphone unveilings. The Huawei P10 is also expected to be one of those smartphone that will be revealed. Huawei already released a short teaser video announcing that the Huawei P10 will be unveiled at the said event with the date set at Feb. 26.

Huawei will also be releasing a new smartwatch that may or may not use Android Wear 2.0, Mashable reported. The new model is expected to be geared towards outgoing and athletic users. It may feature fitness tracking capabilities and water resistance.

The Huawei P10 specs have been leaked in a benchmark. It shows that the screen will have a 5.5-inch display with QHD resolution which will probably be powered by an OLED panel. It will be run by the Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM which is more than enough for every day tasks.

Huawei may also be incorporating its own AI digital assistant for the P10 in the near future. People familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that the Huawei digital assistant is aimed to compete with Amazons Alexa, Alphabet's Google Assistant and Apple's Siri.

The development would focus first on the Chinese market but Huawei will still collaborate with Google and Amazon to target users outside China. It means that the digital assistant will be able to understand Chinese dialect and English as well.

Since the Google Assistant is blocked in China, the Huawei digital assistant would prove to be a huge advantage for the company. Huawei will be present in the MWC 2017 event to unveil the P10.
