The latest details and spoilers for "Wonder Woman" will feature the possible actor to play Zeus and Steve Trevor and Ares's roles in the film.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a potential details in "Wonder Woman" as someone from Reddit posted several leaked information on the plot and the characters that are involved in the film.
According the the Reddit post (via ScreenGeek), the "Wonder Woman" film starts with the narration of the Greek Gods and how the island of Theymiscra was created for the Amazon as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) suspected that she was different from her fellow Amazon sisters are she was concieved naturally rather than being made from clay. Just like the New 52 in the DC comics, Diana could be the daughter of Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) and Zeus, leader of the Gods.
Ares will be the main villain in the "Wonder Woman" and he will be portrayed by "Harr Potter" film actor David Thewis. In the film, Ares will be under the guise of a mortal man and joins the first World War. Ares's true form will be CGI as his appearance is described as having a very dark grey armor with a the blood stained golden fleece on his right arm suspended by a belt with some sort of tiny horns. He has a shield which is small and expands into a rather large bladed shield, and a large blood stained Ram Skull Helmet.
In fact, a toy version of Ares was seen during the New York toyfair event last weekend as part of the "Wonder Woman" toyline from DC, ComicBook reported. Are will also wield the God-Killer sword, the weapon that Wonder Woman will use in the early parts of the "Wonder Woman" film but eventually loses it to the God of War.
Ares origanlly owned the God-Killer sword but was taken by the Amazon after defeating him in battle and Wonder Woman will fight Ares using the same sword she used in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice".
Diana's ally and lover interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) will also have an interesting role in "Wonder Woman" as he steals a book which has formulas and spells to create a gas capable of controlling minds and drive people into war against each other.
One of its components is the gas created by Doctor Poison( the weird masked lady). Ares’ plan is to create a war that would end half of humanity and regain his lost strength, which is powered by conflict and destroy Themiscyra and the Gods whom he despise.
The Reddit post also revealed that "The Terminator" star Arnold Schwarzenegger could be portraying Zeus in the film, although he cannot confirmed it directly due to the character being a silhouetted figure with light around him.
"Wonder Woman" will be released in cinemas on June 2.
