In the previous week, an executive from Samsung Turkey had revealed Nougat update scheduled for Samsung Galaxy phones. Now, the list of the Galaxy smartphones and tablets along with the schedule of Nougat update for these devices have been allegedly revealed on Samsung Turkey website.
The Samsung Turkey support page that included the Android 7.0 Nougat update schedule for Galaxy devices are no longer accessible. However, the details mentioned on the inaccessible Samsung Turkey page is available with Galaxy Club.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A8 (2016)
In April, the SM-A310F Galaxy A3 (2016) and SM-A800F Galaxy A8 (2016) are slated to get the update. The SM-A510F Galaxy A5 (2016) and Sm-A710F Galaxy A7 (2016) are next in line to get updated to Android N in May. The SM-A800I Galaxy A8 Duos (2016) will be upgraded to Android N in the same month.
Samsung Turkey did not list any smartphones for Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade in June. In July, the South Korean company will be making the software update available to SM-A320F Galaxy A3 (2017), SM-A520F Galaxy A5 (2017) and SM-A720F Galaxy A7 (2017).
All the aforementioned Galaxy A smartphones are currently running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. In December 2016, the 2016 versions of Galaxy A series smartphones were spotted being tested with Nougat OS.
Also, even before the official launch of the 2017 Galaxy A phones at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the previous month, these smartphones were pegged to arrive with Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled. It seems that the 2015 Galaxy A phones are unlikely to get the latest Android upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy J7, Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy J5 Galaxy On7 Nougat Update
The SM-J710FQ Galaxy J7 (2016) is also scheduled to the latest Android version in July. The SM-J700F Galaxy J7 (2015) will be upgraded in August. In September, the update will be hitting SM-J510FQ Galaxy J5 (2016). The SM-600F Galaxy J5 (2015) is slated for Android N upgrade in October.
At the end of the same month, the update will be coming to Galaxy On7 (SM-600F). In November, the update arriving to SM-G610F Galaxy J7 Prime (2016), Sam Mobile reported.
