Avid fans of Capcom's survival horror game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will soon have the chance to embark on another in-game mission with the upcoming "Not a Hero" DLC. Leaked game codes discovered by eagle-eyed gamers uncovered some interesting details about the said DLC including its main characters namely Lucas Baker and Chris Redfield.
The plot details for the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" DLC were recently unveiled by Redditor GaspenPayne. In a Reddit thread, the said gamer shared leaked game codes that teased of the "Not a Hero" DLC's focus on Redfield and Baker.
It appears that Redfield will be tasked to hunt down Baker, as well as secure some important documents and a specimen named "White Mold Sample." Apart from said tasks, the agent will also need to save two Bravo team members during his mission to take down the Jigsaw lover and pyrotechnic member of the villainous family.
Moreover, some of the game codes hinted of the "Not a Hero" DLC's locations that included a ship, a salt mine and an area with a cliff. Redfield will also encounter a mysterious threat dubbed the "Extreme White Molded" and will be tasked to kill it.
Meanwhile, the leaked game files for the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" DLC also hinted of a secret connection that will be unveiled. With game codes such as "RecoveryOfTheConnection_MemberList" and "Eavesdrop_LucasAndConnection," the said DLC might provide the answer to some of the main game's mysteries.
In other news, Capcom recently released the game's two DLCs that were previously PlayStation 4 exclusives, Game Spot reported. Titled "Banned Footage Volume 1" and "Banned Footage Volume 2," the two DLC's added several game missions such as the "Bedroom" and "Nightmare" challenges, the "21" and "Daughters" scenarios, as well as a new game mode dubbed "Jack's 55th Birthday."
"Resident Evil 7" was released on Jan. 24 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, while the game's upcoming "Not a Hero" DLC will be deployed sometime in spring. Watch the game's teaser clip below:
