"Kingdom Hearts III" release date for both PS4 and Xbox One is far from happening this year based on recent updates online. However, recent events likely confirm the previously rumored release period of the game, which in turn could be fully playable by August 2018.
The highly anticipated action role-playing sequel from Square Enix still lacks a release time frame. However, a recent leak suggests that the waiting period for the game's release would be up 2018. The cited timeframe circulating online has its roots from a Reddit post detailing "KH 3" release date and other relevant information.
The post that was quickly picked up by gaming sites, sharing that release for the game is "targetted NOW to March 2018." If there would be no delays associated development problems, "KH III" will be fully playable by Augusts as the leak would suggest.
The concept for the game started as early as 2006, but its official confirmation of the game's development was revealed only in 2013 during the E3 event that year, according to Prima Games. The "KH III," which serves as a game sequel, has been considered a challenging development task by the game developer.

True to their goal, the recently released game screenshot of speaks a lot in term of "KH III" improvement. Game developer Square Enix shared a screenshot showcasing Sora taking on a giant enemy. Another noticeable change in the upcoming game would be its Keyblade, capable of changing into various things, according to Siliconera.
The Keyblade may be utilized by players as a shield or even into a chariot. Such development of weaponry has been dubbed as "Power Form."
