Despite claims of the upcoming iPad Pro 2's reveal next month, reports of delays are rampant as the MWC 2017 event draws near. It is rumored that the next iPad will be released three months after its March reveal.

According to DigiTimes, Apple plans to launch the newest iPad Pro shortly after the devices are revealed in March which might affect the first-quarter sales of various supply chain makers. Some of these companies expect that the delay could make them lose 10 percent revenue during the time period but will recover afterwards because of the follow-up orders for the new iPad Pro device.

However, details about the iPad Pro 2 are still scarce, but the 12.9-inch variant of the device will most likely see small tweaks while its two other variants will have significantly new features. Chief of these is the upgrade to the A10X processor chipset.

The 10.5-inch model for the Apple iPad Pro 2 is a new form factor for the pad, IHS Markit Director of Tablets and PCs Rhoda Alexander said in an interview with Forbes. With this, it is possible that it will have a wafer-thin bezel and have a similar size to the 9.7-inch variant as a result.

Alexander also remarked that the display resolution for the 10.5-inch variant will increase. It will be increased from the current 2,048-by-1536 to 2,024-by-1668, which will maintain the same PPI (Pixels Per Inch).

As for the price, the 9.7-inch variant iPad Pro 2 may go as low as 500 dollars, but its trade-off is the generation of processors used on the low-cost model since it will only the A9 chipset. The reason behind the price decrease compared to its predecessor is that the 10.5-inch version will take the 600-dollar price slot instead.

However, Apple has still not confirmed whether or not an event will take place in March, but an announcement is expected to happen soon. Here is a video for the iPad Pro:
