Avid "Running Man" viewers may soon see the long-running variety show air at a different day or time. A source from SBS told South Korean news outlet TV Daily that showrunners have been considering making strategic changes to the show.

One of the potential changes might involve switching "Running Man" from its Sunday broadcast schedule to an evening weekday program. Showrunners also discussed moving the SBS show to a late-night weekend timeslot.

It appears that showrunners are looking at potential shows to replace the reality talent program "Kpop Star." Given the said program's impending April finale, the SBS team is already reviewing its inventory of TV shows that could take "Kpop Star's" late-night Sunday timeslot.

"Running Man" was identified as one of the potential shows that might be moved to a different schedule, according to the said source. However, it is still unclear if the SBS variety program will be affected by the network's TV program reshuffling. The source stated, "The time slot change is under discussion, and there has not been anything confirmed yet."

Meanwhile, viewers can still expect to see the show's cast members in upcoming episodes. Despite the earlier casting controversies that involved Song and Kim, both celebrities chose to stay with "Running Man."

In other news, "Running Man" cast member Yoo Jae Suk was identified as one of the most influential celebrities in South Korea. The comedian landed at number 13 on Forbes Korea's 2017 Top 40 Power Celebrities list, as cited by All Kpop.
