There is a new student in school named Philip Cantrell (Liam Hughes) and his story in "When Calls the Heart" Season 4 episode 3 titled "The Heart of the Community" is a very heartwarming one. The episode will air on March 5, Sunday, at 9 p.m. on Hallmark.
In "The Heart of the Community," Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) and the children will throw a carnival, which is intended to raise money for new school supplies. Viewers will see how the carnival provides a ray of hope for Philip and his relationship with his distant father Shane Cantrell (Niall Matter).
"The Heart of the Community" was written by Richard Manning and directed by Neill Fearnley.
