A spin-off from "Chicago P.D.," "Chicago Justice" premiered on March 1, Wednesday, with the episode titled "Fake." Episode 2 titled "Uncertainty Principle" will air on NBC on March 5, Sunday, at 9 p.m.
In "Uncertainty Principle," an investigation will be done on a series of events following the arrest and death of a young man. Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) will be charged with murder and Paul Robinette (Richard Brooks) will defend him.
Hawkins played Kevin in "Chicago Fire" from 2013 to 2016. He also has been playing the character in "Chicago P.D." since 2014.
This is not the first time Brooks played Paul, as well. He played the character in "Law & Order" from 1999 to 2006.
"Uncertainty Principle" was directed by Norberto Barba. Joining Hawkins and Brooks in the episode are Philip Winchester as Peter Stone, Jon Seda as Antonio Dawson, Joelle Carter as Laura Nagel, Monica Barbaro as Anna Valdez, Carl Weathers as Mark Jefferies, Jason Beghe as Hank Voight, Amy Morton as Trudy Platt, Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, Danny Jacobs as Arnold Rifking, Lisa Zane as Judge Fotis and LaShawn Banks as Buckley White.
Daneil Craig Baker and Jatone Smith will also be in "Uncertainty Principle." They will play an assistant state's attorney and a SAI employee, respectively.
