Claire Danes, 37, has finished filming "Homeland" Season 6. Recently, the actress was seen in front of The Greenwich Hotel, a luxurious 5-star hotel owned by Zac Efron's "Dirty Grandpa" co-star Robert de Niro, 73.
Apparently, Danes was not in New York City to film "Homeland" Season 6 with de Niro. The actress was there taking a break from filming.
Danes seemingly tried to go out incognito while braving the cold weather. She wore a navy blue puffer coat zipped half-way down paired with blue skinny jeans, black Oxford shoes and red socks, Daily Mail reported.
Wearing no makeup, Danes was carrying a black backpack. From the pocket of her jacket, headphones peeked out and reached around the neck of the actress into her ears.
It appears that Danes has enough free time now that "Homeland" Season 6 has been filmed. On the big screen, she does not have a project coming soon. The last film she starred in was "Brigsby Bear," which was released on Jan. 23.
Danes is set to star in an independent film titled "A Kid Like Jake" opposite "The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons, Variety has learned. The schedule of filming has yet to be confirmed.
As for "Homeland" Season 6, it is now more than half-way complete after episode 7 titled "Imminent Risk" aired on March 5, Sunday. The current season premiered on Jan. 15 on Showtime.
Two more episodes will be aired before the "Homeland" Season 6 finale. The last episode of the current season is episode 12 titled "America First," which will be aired on April 9.
"America First" was written by Alex Gansa and Ron Nyswaner and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. Episodes 3, 4 and 8 titled "The Covenant," "A Flash of Light" and "Alt. Truth" were also directed by Glatter.
"Alt. Truth" will air on March 12. In the episode, Carrie Mathison (Danes) and Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) will present evidence to Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) while Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) is set to track a mark.
