Created by Kevin Williamson, "Time After Time" will premiere on ABC on March 5, Sunday, at 9 p.m. in two parts. The new period drama/sci-fi series stars "Game of Thrones" alum Freddie Stroma as H. H.G. Wells.
Marcos Siega directed both the pilot episode of "Time After Time" followed by the episode titled "I Will Catch You." Nicholas Meyers wrote the teleplay of the former from the story of Karl Alexander and Steve Hayes while the latter was written by Williamson.
In these episodes, viewers will see the young H.G. Wells travelling in the time machine he created to modern day New York City. He will look for Dr. John Stevenson (Josh Bowman), better known as Jack the Ripper in the pilot episode.
Unbeknownst to H. G. Wells, Jack the Ripper is secretly psychopathic although very charismatic. While in New York, H. G. Wells will be captivated by the beauty of Jane Walker (Genesis Rodriguez).
In "I Will Catch You," H. G. Wells will face the real possibility that Vanessa Anders (Nicole Ari Parker) is his great granddaughter. Also featured in the episode are Alan Ariano as Viet, Will Chase as Griffin Monroe, Bob Jaffe as Doomsday Prophet and Elliot Villar as Doug Lawson.
Before starring in "Time After Time," Stroma starred in "UnREAL" as Adam Cromwell from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he also played Dickon Tarly in the HBO hit series "Game of Thrones."
On the big screen, Stroma starred in the action drama film "13 Hours" with John Krasinksi, Pablo Schreiber and James Badge Dale in 2016. It was helmed by "Transformers" director Michael Bay.
