"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is less than two months away from its highly anticipated release when fan-favourite superheroes will come together once again. Meanwhile, fans can expect some surprise appearances. Read on to find out the details.
Besides Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Ultron, fans can expect to see some never-before-seen Marvel characters in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." In an interview with Marvel Entertainment, the director Joss Whedon was asked whether viewers will be getting the glimpse of "other Marvel characters that aren't yet in the preview photos." Whedon responded saying "yes."
Even though Whedon did not reveal details about these surprise characters, but speculations are running rampant. According to Cinema Blend, fans can expect to see Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther who will be seen in action in "Captain America: Civil War." He is speculated to be the member of new Avengers team that will be formed at the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
Another character that might appear in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is Captain Marvel, as per the abovementioned publication. Benedict Cumberbatch will be seen in his first superhero role Doctor Strange in a stand-alone movie set to release in 2016. But before that, it is expected that the studio will introduce the Sorcerer Supreme in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Hank Pym, creator of Ant-Man, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson are two other Marvel characters speculated to be seen in the upcoming movie.
The speculations about the appearance of surprise Marvel characters in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" began making the rounds in August 2014. Back then, Badass Digest stated that at the end of the movie Captain America will assemble a team that will consist of old and new faces, marking the beginning of Marvel Phase 3.
