Chinese developer TaiG is still trying hard to release the much awaited iOS 8.2 jailbreak as soon as possible.
iPhoneHacks cited the iOS jailbreaking group, which released a statement denying the rumors that it already released the said jailbreak. Reports claimed that TaiG will take the wraps off the iOS 8.2 jailbreak at the 2015 Mobile Security Summit (MSS) in Beijing, China on Mar. 27. However, the jailbreaking tool went missing in action.
TaiG announced in its website that the above mentioned summit is for the purpose of creating an open communication forum for jailbreakers in preparation for developing better untethered jailbreaks in the future. Apparently, the Chinese developer has not completed the iOS 8.2 jailbreak yet.
"The development and release of a jailbreak tool was restricted to several factors, however what TaiG Jailbreak Team wanted is to release the jailbreak of iOS 8.2 as soon as possible," the developer continued.
This implied that the TaiG is still working on the iOS 8.2 jailbreak, although it has not announced a specific release date yet.
Initial reports stated that TaiG are working on the jailbreak through the vulnerabilities of the beta versions of the operating system. Meanwhile, there are reports saying that iOS 8.2 is not jailbreakable like the iOS 8.1.3, while others are saying that iOS 8.2 is way behind since the tech giant is meant to roll out the official version of iOS 8.3 soon.
TaiG also warned iOS users that it has not released any jailbreaking tool and information from outside the "TaiG Jailbreak Team official news channel should not be trusted".
TaiG is responsible for releasing one of the earliest jailbreaks for iOS 8. Its jailbreak works from iOS 8 to iOS 8.1.2 versions. However, Apple put a halt on the jailbreaks when it rolled out the iOS 8.1.3.
