Two of the R&B biggest stars, Beyoncé and Chris Brown, have joined hands and released a new single. According to multiple reports, a never-heard-before remixed version of the track Beyoncé's track "Jealous" has hit the internet on Thursday.
The new remix features rapper Brown alongside the Queen Bey. The original track belongs to Beyonce's super successful self-titled album that she dropped secretly in December 2013.
The new remixed version starts just like the original one until Brown joins in with his vocals. "Queen Bey, I'm trippin' 'cause I'm a little insecure when your phone go off," sings the 25-year-old American recording artist in his distinctive voice. The new version of the song is a typical duet approach involving the call and response verses of the ballad, Hot New Hip Hop reported.
The new remixed track made the fans of both the camps jumped to speculations that the song might be a teaser of an upcoming collaboration between the two stars. It was also rumored that the newly released version just might be the original one which was not included in the Queen Bey's 2013 hit album.
"I did the jealous remix some months ago for the Beyoncé collaboration album, but it was never used. Glad you guys get to hear it," tweeted Brown to clear the air around the track and to explain how the song came about.
"Jealous" was one of the most successful songs on Beyoncé's fifth studio album with an equally memorable video. Following the release of her hit album, the singer had headlined stadium tour together for the first time with her husband Jay Z. The album also had the track "Drunk In Love" which rose to number two position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, winning the 57th Grammy award for Best R&B Song.
Meanwhile, Brown's lyrics in the newly unveiled track seem to have a connection with his real life. The phrase "love in Texas" seems to be referring to his new scandal which emerged a few weeks ago linking him to one of his model friends who lives in Texas. The model is also the mother of Brown's nine-month-old newly disclosed love child and is expected to move close to Brown's house very soon.
