"Furious 7" actor Dwayne Johnson appears to have another talent aside from wrestling and acting in action films. The Rock recently nailed a lip sync version of Taylor Swift's hit "Shake It Off."
Johnson appeared in the series premiere for Spike's "Lip Sync Battle, The Tonight's Show" hosted by LL Cool J. In the pilot episode, the former wrestler and Jimmy Fallon had a lip sync face off.
"I had to go with something the people wouldn't expect," Johnson told Mario Lopez of Extra about his song choices. "Taylor, I got to send a personal appreciation, thank you so much."
While Johnson nailed Swift's hit song from the "1989" album in the first round, Fallon performed "Jump in the Line" by Harry Belafonte.
In the second round, Johnson lip-synced "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees and did his best Tony Manero impression while Fallon did Madonna's "Like A Prayer" with a full lip-syncing choir.
In the end, it was the "Furious 7" actor who won the battle.
Directed by James Wan, "Furious 7" also stars the late Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, Kurt Russell, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Gal Gadot, Ronda Rousey and Iggy Azalea, among others.
Meanwhile, "Shake It Off" is currently at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart just behind Rihanna's new song "B---h Better Have My Money." Other songs from Swift's "1989" album on the chart are "Style" at number seven and "Blank Space" at number 13.
Still dominating the chart is Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk!" featuring Bruno Mars. At number two is Maroon 5's "Sugar" followed by Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" at number three, Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" at number four and The Weeknd's "Earned It."
