Fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Trailer speculations have been ongoing for a period of time with no official announcement being released. Finally, a bit of information on the highly anticipated trailer has been revealed by co-scorer Tom Holkenborg. The director of the film also gave insights on what kind of Lex Luthor the fans should expect.
Musical director Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, began scoring for the upcoming film recently. Then, he posted on Twitter a few days ago saying that they mixed the trailer, which had an "awesome" outcome. He also tweeted yesterday that he and co-composer Hans Zimmer are seeing the film for the first time.
Holkenberg and Zimmer have worked together for an array of musical development such as "Inception" (2010), "The Dark Night Rises" (2012), and "Man of Steel" (2013), as per Cinema Blend. Also, Holkenberg is currently in the process of completing his score for the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road."
Meanwhile, film helmer Zack Snyder shared his thoughts on the villan character Luthor in The Christian Times. Luthor is played by Jesse Eissenberg. According to the director, Luthor in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be unique than the previous ones the fans have seen. Snyder described the villain as "bald" and "appealing."
"He is a captain of industry, one person to the world and another person to himself and is also bald," he said.
A teaser trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is expected to be released on May 15 along with George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road."
Aside from Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, the film will star Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/ Superman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
Snyder is set to pilot the film, along with Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder as producers. Chris Terrio is set to pen the screenplay.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters on March 25, 2016.
