Prior to the airing of the interview of Bruce Jenner, 65, with Diane Sawyer on April 24, Friday, it was revealed that his stepson Rob Kardashian also has his own struggle, according to his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, 34.
In a preview clip of the April 27, Monday, episode of "Today" obtained by E! News, Kim tells Matt Lauer that her brother Rob is "just going through a phase where he's not comfortable in his own skin" and he is "working really hard to get back to where he really wants to be."
Lauer then says, "All kids, as you put it, go through phases" then asks Kim whether Rob's phase is being worsened by being part of "this very public, very famous family," to which Kanye West's wife says she does not think it is necessarily because of the fame.
For Kim, Rob's private struggles are caused by the circumstances in his life that he has yet to deal with. She said among these circumstances may be certain breakups, the death of their biological father, and his being extremely close to former NBA player Lamar Odom.
According to Kim, the time when their sister Khloe and Odom broke up was really hard on Rob.
In March, Kim said on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" that Rob is depressed after their mother said that if she does not help Rob do something drastic, he might die considering that he gained more than 100 pounds in 2014.
Meanwhile, the Kardashian-Jenner reportedly laughed off the rumors that Khloe's real father is her hair stylist Alex Roldan, The Hollywood Gossip has learned.
