LG's posh Watch Urbane has begun to roll out of South Korea, and it is anticipated to reach other countries by the month-end, according to Green Bot. The smartwatch, which is geared toward Android phone users, is now available in the Google Store for customers in the United States and other countries.
The LG Watch Urbane, which carries a price tag of $350, boasts a good quality leather strap and a steel body with an impressive wearable technology inside.The smartwatch is available in a silver or gold finished steel body. The leather band has a fine stitching.
LG's new watch has an ultra-clear display that allows users to view the watch at any angle. The watch is powered by a 410mAh battery and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz clock speed. It has 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM.
Other features include an IP67 water resistance that can sit in three feet of water, a Bluetooth and WiFi module.
LG's Android Wear watch is now available at the Google Store in Spain, Italy, India, US, Hong Kong, Korea, UK, France, Japan, Germany, Ireland, Canada and Australia.
Customers ordering the smartwatch through the Google Store will have to wait for a while for shipment, CNET reported. The LG's Watch Urbane is expected to ship by May 8. However, the Google Store isn't the only option. At present, Verizon is selling the smartwatch in the US and AT&T is selling it online and will offer it in its stores starting May 15.
