Dr. Phil recently fired one of his employees for allegedly leaking information about Nick Gordon's interview-turned-intervention.
According to multiple sources, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown was interviewed on "Dr. Phil" and his appearance was supposed to be aired on Mar. 11, The Hollywood Reporter noted.
However, prior to the airing of the pre-taped interview, one of Dr. Phil's employees leaked details about the conversation to a British newspaper.
Upon learning this, Dr. Phil, gathered all of his staff and asked them to spill who was responsible for the leak.
At first, no one admitted that it was their fault but after the meeting, one female staff approached Dr. Phil and confessed that it was her who leaked all the information to the British publication, according to the New York Daily News.
Following the staff's termination, Dr. Phil's spokesperson released an official statement and said, "A member of our team stole a story and was dismissed. We take our show content and process extremely seriously and have zero tolerance for stealing proprietary information."
Meanwhile, Gordon's interview on "Dr. Phil" became highly controversial after it ended up as an intervention.
Last month, Gordon's mom Michelle revealed that her son is devastated of Brown's hospitalization and said that the latter just wants to die.
Gordon later on entered a rehab facility for drug and alcohol addiction and on was just released on Tuesday.
His representative, Josey Crews told the publication, "He's doing great. He's a completely different person. His outlook on life is completely different."
