Kanye West took to Twitter on May 3, Sunday, to announce that he already changed the title of his upcoming album from "So Help Me God" to "SWISH."
"I'm changing my album name to SWISH," West tweeted.
The upcoming album of the 37-year-old rapper is a follow up to the 2013 hit album called "Yeezus." However, fans of the rapper should not get too comfortable with the new name of the album. After announcing the change of name, West also tweeted that he has not yet finalized the title and might change it again in the future.
As for the release date of the said album, West's lips remain tight-sealed as he wanted it to be a surprise for his fans. He shared that release dates are a thing of the past so he just wants everyone to be taken aback when his album finally hits the market during his interview with Power 105.1's show "The Breakfast Club."
West also shared during the interview that his new album will be about embracing music as he compared it to "Yeezus," which was about a protest of music. He shared that the tracks in his new album is basically about a service to the people.
Some of West's songs in the upcoming album include "Only One," Wolves," "All Day," and "FourFiveSeconds." These songs feature The Beatles legend Paul McCartney.
This is not the first time that West used the word "swish" as he already tweeted the word numerous times. One instance was when he shared a nude photo of his wife, Kim Kardashian, to celebrate a milestone of reaching 30 million followers on Twitter.
West also used the same word when he announced the Season 10 premiere of the E! reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
This is the second time that West changed the name of his album as his former album called "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" was initially called "Good Ass Job," Pitchfork reported.
