Marvel Universe series of films will be the "Sherlock Holmes" duo's third movie together, following the "Hobbit" trilogy films.
Meanwhile, Evans' successful appearance as "Captain America" in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" has made him more excited about doing another lined-up solo moving picture, especially that a new love interest will be thrown into the film.
When asked specifically about a possible love interest, he shared, "It is funny if you actually think about the matter. The hero is probably a virgin, well, he is a virgin!"
The "Snowpiercer" actor said, "I just think that we have scratched the surface on what turned out to be something great."
"I think there is just so many things left to explore," Evans added. "Not just in terms of the hero's character evolution and Anthony Mackie's character, but the reconnection his creating with Bucky, and ultimately a successful relationship with a woman."
