Prior to his death, the late "Furious 7" star Paul Walker founded a disaster relief charity called Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), which is now helping victims of the devastating 7.8 magnitude Nepal earthquake.
ROWW have organized the #Game4Paul livestream "gameathon" that will be taking place on May 9, Saturday, on Tiltify. It turns out that the late "Furious 7" actor was also a gamer, according to Game Revolution.
Since Walker's death, his brother Cody Walker as well as the rest of the Walker family and many of the late actor's friends and volunteers have all made sure that ROWW continues doing what its founder intended it would do, which is to help people from around the world who are victimized by devastating disasters, such as the recent Nepal earthquake.
The current goal for the #Game4Paul livestream "gameathon" goal is $100,000. Depending on how much they donate, donors can have a shout-out during the gameathon and those who donate via the rewards section can get special merchandise.
Aside from the fact that the late "Furious 7" actor's charity is behind the #Game4Paul livestream "gameathon," various celebrities are said to be participating in the livestream, although there are no details whether some of the "Furious 7" cast are taking part.
Directed by James Wan, "Furious 7" also starred Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kurt Russell, Gal Gadot, Tony Jaa, Luke Evans, Sung Kang, Ronda Rousey, Ali Fazal, Iggy Azalea and Jon Lee Brody, among others.
