"Frozen 2" has already been confirmed and its producers have revealed that they are already working on the second installment. With this report, fans are wondering what would happen to their favorite characters, specifically Anna and Elsa as it was recently revealed that the two will face a new villain.
According to Master Herald, "Frozen 2" will continue to chronicle the lives of Anna and Elsa. However, this time around, they will be going up against an evil king.
In the past, there have been reports that film director Chris Buck has taken some inspiration from the film "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" when he visited Australia recently. However, it is still unclear what the connection between "Oz" and the evil king will be.
Several publications have noted that "Frozen 2" and "Oz" could be likened to each other in the sense that both could focus on a character who has the power to change something about themselves and then succeed.
Meanwhile, other publications also noted that "Frozen 2" will be written as a flashback, but it will not necessarily begin at the time when Anna and Elsa were still children. Rather, it will commence at the time when both already have their special gifts.
Additionally, the ending of "Frozen 2" has already been decided upon, but as of late, the beginning and the middle parts of the plot are still pending approval.
Too much pressure is placed upon the shoulders of the film producers to ensure that "Frozen 2" will become as successful as "Frozen," if not, even more successful as the first installment to the franchise, Cross Map reported.
