There is still no confirmed details about "Furious 8" cast although Vin Diesel has announced the release date of the action film is on April 14, 2017.
Among the female cast of "Furious 7," only Jordana Brewster has reportedly confirmed that she is reprising her role as Mia Toretto-O'Conner, the wife of Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), in "Furious 8," according to Classicalite.
In an interview with The Daily Beast in April, Michelle Rodriguez revealed she almost did not accept the role of streetwise racer Letty Ortiz in the first "The Fast and the Furious" film and she credits Diesel for convincing her to the play the part.
In the same interview, Rodriguez mentioned that she loves Walker very much. This indicates that it is very likely that she will reprise her role in "Furious 8," which Diesel said is going to be a gift to Walker.
Like Rodriguez, neither Gal Gadot nor Ronda Rousey has spoken about being in the "Furious 8" cast. In "Furious 7," Gadot appeared as Gisele Yashar in a photograph and in archive footage from both "Fast 5" and "Fast and Furious 6" while Rousey appeared as Kara, the Head of Security for an Abu Dhabi billionaire.
Rita Ora's "Black Widow" collaborator Iggy Azalea also made a cameo appearance in "Furious 7" and contributed to the film's soundtrack. However, unlike Brewster, Rodriguez, Gadot and Rousey, the Australian rapper is not likely to appear in "Furious 8."
Elsa Pataky, who played DSS agent and former Rio police officer Elene Neves in "Furious 7," has yet to comment on being part of "Furious 8" cast. Nathalie Emmanuel has also yet to confirm if she is set to reprise her role Megan Ramsey, the God's Eye creator.
