A scene in Nicki Minaj's "Feeling Myself" video showing Beyonce pouring champagne reportedly worth $20,000 is angering critics on social media.

"I'm honestly not impressed that Beyoncé poured a $20,000 bottle of champagne in a jacuzzi. There are people starving and homeless," one critic tweeted.

Minaj and Beyonce co-wrote "Feeling Myself" with Hit-Boy and SZA. Its lyrics feature Minaj and Beyonce bragging about themselves. The music video of the hip-hop song premiered exclusively on Tidal on May 18, Monday.

Neither Minaj nor Beyonce has commented on the critics' clamour over the champagne.

In 2014, Knowles broke down in tears, which she called an ugly cry, and shared a champagne toast with husband Jay-Z at the end of her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

Having performed 132 concerts across Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America, the 32-year-old diva started the "Mrs. Carter" tour in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15, 2013 and got emotional during the final show of the tour after almost a year.

Earning $188.6 million from its initial 107 shows in 2013, Beyonce's "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" was the highest grossing tour of a female performer last year, according to E! News.

In November 2013, Beyoncé's fifth self-titled album with 17 music videos and 14 songs was released via iTunes without any initial publicity and went on to become No. 1 on the Billboard charts on its debut, Entertainment Wise reported.

The album broke an iTunes record after selling 828,773 copies in only three days.
