Nicki Minaj is not getting married any time sooner. The rapper's fiancé Meek Mill with whom she got reportedly engaged, clarified that he is not yet ready to marry the "Anaconda" hitmaker.
"I ain't engaged," said the 28-year-old rapper on being quizzed about his engagement to Minaj, Hollywood Life reported. However, he hinted they are still in a stage where they are trying to know each other. The rapper was talking to the magazine, Fader, for its June issue, when he gave a glimpse of his life with Minaj.
The couple is said to be in an on-and-off relationship. They were first linked to each other romantically in December 2014, but denied the same. Later, Miller confessed famously that he was smitten with Minaj.
Soon after, the "Bed Of Lies" hit maker shared a picture of her $500,000 worth 15-carat heart-shaped white and yellow diamond ring on Instagram, which started the rumor that she is engage. Now, with the recent confession of Mill, the fans of the rapper have gone into frenzy, who was otherwise expecting a grand celebration of their idol's wedding.
Not only fans, Mill's grandmother was also convinced that her grandson will soon walk down the aisle with Minaj, Sky News reported.
The news of Minaj's engagement was confirmed by multiple sources, which claimed that the couple has already started planning their wedding and wants to settle down soon. As a matter of fact, the news of Minaj getting engaged was apparently not taken down well by her former lover Safaree Samuels who allegedly leaked a series of her racy pictures.
