Marvel's upcoming film "Doctor Strange" is possibly connection to its forthcoming duology "Avengers: Infinity War" through the Mad Titan, Thanos.
"Doctor Strange" filmmaker himself, Scott Derrickson, posted on his Twitter account an image of the Sorcerer Supreme and the Mad Titan. It was captioned "As will we all..."
The photo was from the 1974 comics issue entitled "Doctor Strange Meets... Death!" and it got more than 100 re-tweets and more than 200 favorites.
With Derrickson's photo on Twitter, it can be assumed that Thanos will also be part of the upcoming "Doctor Strange," linking it with Joe and Anthony Russo's "Avengers: Infinity War," as per Cinema Blend.
Thanos wants to destroy everything with the Infinity Stones and the primary reason for his evil actions and thirst for power is to gain the affections of Death, who he loves.
Death appears to the Mad Titan as a hooded woman and if she will be of a major role in the foundation of "Avengers: Infinity War" if she is to appear in Derrickson's "Doctor Strange," as per Screen Crush.
Meanwhile, "Doctor Strange" meets Death in the comics and defeats her by joining forces with the Spirit of Eternity. The Ancient One, his master later tells him that his triumph over Death was part of his challenges to be recognized as the Sorcerer Supreme, making him immortal.
Benedict Cumberbatch will play the role of the Sorcerer Supreme while Josh Brolin may reprise his role of the Mad Titan.
"Doctor Strange" is slated to premiere on Nov. 4, 2016. "Avengers: Infinity War - Part I" is set to hit the theaters on May 2, 2018 while "Avengers: Infinity War - Part II" is slated to premiere on May 3, 2019.
