Gary Busey forgot that he on "Entourage," according to Doug Ellin, the director and writer of the HBO series. "The Celebrity Apprentice" and Oscar-nominated actor did appear on the "Entourage" series and is now part of the film version's cast.
Busey is currently filming the film version of "Entourage," which is also being directed by Ellin. Since Busey played himself in several episodes of "Entourage" 2004 to 2007, Ellin instructed the actor in the film to "do it like he did for TV," as he revealed at an AOL Build talk.
"I did the show?" Busey asked at the time, Ellin revealed adding that he is convinced the actor really does not remember he appeared on the "Entourage" series, which starred Adrian Grenier, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven, among others.
Ellin recalled Busey "used to carry like a 'Pulp Fiction' suitcase with him that no one was allowed to go near. We didn't know if there was like a bomb in it. He had a security guard walking around with this case."
In March 2011, Busey appeared in "The Celebrity Apprentice 4," which was won by country music star John Rich. After two years, he returned in "The Celebrity Apprentice 6" all-star edition, which was won by Trace Adkins.
Meanwhile, "The Celebrity Apprentice" host Donald Trump, who has described Busey as a genius, is reportedly set to make a major announcement on June 16 at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
A source told WMUR that Trump announce his candidacy for the president of the United States at that time. A Republican who is against Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton, Trump has already hired staffers after setting up a pre-campaign organization headed by conservative strategist Corey Lewandowski of Windham.
