"Transformers 5" will be released in the next two years, but until today, fans still do not know whether or not Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf will reprise their roles in the fifth installment.
"Transformers: Age of Extinction" was directed by Michael Bay for a series of upcoming "Transformers" movies that are bound to tell a different story, according to Ecumenical News.
In fact, in the fourth installment, new actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz were introduced.
Now, with Bay's decision to leave the franchise, fans are curious as to whether or not they could still see their favorites like LaBeouf and Fox.
Until today, the casting for "Transformers 5" has not yet been fully confirmed but there are speculations suggesting that indeed, Fox could reprise her role as Mikaela Banes. However, there are hints that this could only happen if Bay would no longer return to the franchise.
In the past, Fox had a fight with Bay causing her to not be included in "Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon."
However, the two have patched things up and the actress was eventually tapped to join the cast of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," one of Bay's films.
Meanwhile, there is still no confirmation yet regarding LaBeouf's fate in the upcoming "Transformers 5" movie, but considering the actor's fan base in previous installments, there seems to be a huge chance that he could be tapped to join the upcoming film again.
There are also reports that "Transformers 5" could focus on new robots and new actors, Christian Today reported.
