Since Google accidentally leaked an image of a Nexus 6 dual-booting phone, which runs Android as well as Windows, no mention of a dual-booting phone nor said anything about the Nexus 6 has been made so far.
The image on Google's SmartLock website shows a Nexus 6 phone, on which Netflix is running and the Windows UI can also be clearly seen. The website is an initiative that educates the users to keep their smartphones unlocked when it is safe to do so.
The website is a Google service, so it is likely that the accidental leaking of the image of the dual-booting phone was an oversight, according to Ecumenical News.
Google is already planning to release two new smartphones made by LG and Huawei. The upcoming Google Nexus 5 (2015) will feature the latest OS Android M and cater to customers who like big-display phones.
The device being made by LG is code-named LG Angler and it is expected to have a 5.2-inch display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 808 hexa-core chipset, which is also responsible for powering the latest LG smartphone G4.
Reportedly called the Bullhead, the Huawei manufactured phone will have a 5.7-inch display with the Snapdragon 810 chipset. It will also run on 3,500 mAh battery.
The upcoming Nexus 5 variants will reportedly feature a fingerprint scanner and the latest Android Pay as well. They may also boast of the new feature "Doze," which is currently being developed by Google to address the problem of flaky battery life in the Android-based devices.
